I’ve used this old cigar box for many years to house graphite pencils, charcoals, erasers and india inks. Not the most elaborate setup but it does the job well.

Another New Experiment
A look at my newest piece. I’m experimenting with a few different techniques with mixed levels of results. I actually stayed up real late last night working on this and it looks much different now. It was a wet, rainy night, but working in the garage I only had to worry about the mosquitos (Yes, in December! That’s the South for you). I’ve been working with glazes and gesso for added levels of depth — there is now much more blending with the acrylics. Hoping to wrap this up this evening and post the results sometime tomorrow.
